Welcome
I am Associate Professor of Marketing at ESSEC Business School, near Paris, France. My research interests, teaching experience and consulting practice are at the frontier of marketing, operations research and information technologies, particularly in the domains of:
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Database and Direct Marketing
Marketing Engineering
I am also Associate Program Director for the Marketing Engineering program and Visiting Research Scholar at the Institute for the Study of Business Markets (Penn State University).
In terms of research and publications, our work has been published in Marketing Science, Management Science, Information Systems Research, International Journal of Research in Marketing (which won the best paper award), and a few others. I am a member of the editorial review board of Journal of Interactive Marketing.
Finally, I have an 11-year experience in the nonprofit sector, period over which I've worked with more than 30 nonprofit organizations to optimize their direct marketing fundraising through better segmentation, targeting and donors' lifetime value analysis.
As a personal note, I was born in Belgium in 1973, and my native language is French. My wife Axelle and I have had a girl (Elise) in October 2002, and a boy (Clément) in January 2004.
